Why the EA instead of the GMAT?
People choose the Executive Assessment (EA) instead of the GMAT for several key reasons:
They are applying to Executive MBA (EMBA) programs. The EA is specifically designed for experienced professionals applying to EMBA and other part-time/evening MBA programs.
Lower test anxiety. As a shorter, more targeted exam, the EA can induce less test anxiety than the comprehensive GMAT for working professionals.
Unlike the GMAT Online, which is proctored by Examity, the EA is proctored by OnVUE.
Initial inquiry
This is a father expecting a baby soon, and we are more than happy to shoulder some of the burden.

Tutorial
Tutorial overview
The tutorial will give you an overview of the exam. You can skip it by clicking "Next" if you are ready to start the exam.
Tutorial
The tutorial covers timing, progress, and navigation for the assessment.
It explains how to track time and progress, minimize and restore reminders, and handle incomplete questions.
Navigation instructions include using blue buttons for Help, Next, and Previous (within sections only), and options for mouse clicks, the Tab key, and shortcut keys.
Once a section is finished, you cannot return to it.
Tutorial - Question Instructions
"Question Instructions" give you the following info:
The Executive Assessment Online consists of three 30-minute sections:
- Integrated Reasoning (12 questions),
- Verbal Reasoning (14 questions), and
- Quantitative Reasoning (14 questions).
Each section is divided into two sub-sections.
All questions are multiple-choice with 2-6 response options, and only one correct answer per question.
You can select answers by clicking anywhere in the option, clicking the circle next to the option, or using the Tab key and spacebar.
Detailed descriptions and samples of the question types are provided in the following pages.
Tutorial - Integrated Reasoning
In the Integrated Reasoning section, you have 30 minutes to complete 12 questions, divided into two sub-sections with 6 questions each.
A Question Review Screen follows each sub-section.
There are four question types: multi-source reasoning, table analysis, graphics interpretation, and two-part analysis.
An onscreen calculator is available by clicking "Calculator" on the blue bar at the upper left.
The timer continues until all questions and review screens are completed. If you have a time accommodation, it is shown on the assessment clock timer in the upper right corner.
Tutorial - Verbal Reasoning
In the Verbal Reasoning section, you have 30 minutes to complete 14 questions, divided into two sub-sections with 7 questions each, followed by a Question Review Screen.
The timer runs continuously until all questions and review screens are completed.
There are three question types: critical reasoning, reading comprehension, and sentence correction. For each question, select the best answer.
Critical reasoning questions are based on short arguments or plans.
Reading comprehension questions are based on passages.
Sentence correction questions involve choosing the best phrasing for underlined parts of sentences according to standard written English.
Tutorial - Quant Reasoning
There are two types of questions in the Quantitative Reasoning section: problem solving and data sufficiency.
Tutorial - Question Review Screen
This screen gives you the following info:
At the end of each sub-section, a review screen allows you to review and edit responses or return to skipped questions. Each section has two review screens:
- Integrated Reasoning: After each 6-question sub-section
- Verbal Reasoning: After each 7-question sub-section
- Quantitative Reasoning: After each 7-question sub-section
You can only review within the sub-section. The 30-minute timer applies across both sub-sections and review screens. Flag questions for review by checking "Flag for Review." The review screen shows completed, incomplete, and flagged questions. Options include Review All, Review Flagged, and a Review Screen button on each screen in review mode. Click the Instructions icon for help.

Update (June 8, 2024): The customer finally gave his review today:
"I can’t recommend enough daisy’s service. From start to finish it was the easiest process you can imagine. I was given clear instructions on what to do for each step and on test day it was a breeze. This is definitely not a scam and worth every dollar. I received the score I wanted as well. Actually a better score than I expected :)"
